Wait a second, this stuff does not hold falls? Oh man I am going to have to go find that guy on craigslist I bought this stuff from and get my 50 bucks back. Thanks for the heads up on that, I cant believe this stuff gets sold. Im going to send this email out right away to Tommy Caldwell, Lynn Hill, Pat Goodman, and Eric Horst right away.

I feel I am pretty classy actually. If I could just get rid of a prison tattoo I got on my neck and a few tear drops on my face I could get an office job.

Well aren't we just a ray of sunshine. There must a huge conspiracy theory afoot creating all those vids and even instances that happened before my very eyes of placed gear holding falls. Maybe you just want attention. I can relate. My dad wasn't there either. Bottom line: properly placed gear will hold falls. Easier routes present less opportunity for falling and more potential for injury from protruding rock. The converse is true on most harder routes. Nevertheless, gear does hold falls, or it would not exist, and the companies that make it certainly wouldn't be able to charge what they do for these hunks of aluminum and zinc, steel cable and plastic. Think about it.
