My wife and I will be in phoenix the first week of March. While we are there we wanted to climb and are looking for suggestions on where the best place for trad cragging would be. I would love multipitch by my wife does not so single pitches it will be for us. Difficulty wise easy stuff 5.7-5.8 for my wife and uppers 10s and 11s for me, so we would need the whole spectrum of grades. Also would you recommend the “Rock Climbing Arizona” guide or something else? I know this is the trad forum but while I am asking, If I was going to drive a few hours to do sport climbing which place would be better, Jacks Canyon, Mt. Lemmon, or somewhere else. I climb up to 5.12 sport. Thanks for all the info you provided. If anyone would like to meet up somewhere and show me around that would be great.
