Nice - I'm down to 193. There is this new gnar climbar boi at the jim who is ripped and crushes the V10+ bolder rowtes. He is very socially awkward despite being ridiculously good-looking. He ask me how much I weighed and I said "195" he said he was 190. I said "wow, you crush the gnar, I need to up my game! you've inspired me!" and he said "yeah, but I'm young". Hah! But you should have said yore old and heavy and still crush teh gnar!

I decided to try it since I joined the gym and they do classes for the members. What the hell. I did yoga for the first time in a year last week.

Anyway, I got brutalized. And it was an easy day. This is what we did:
400m run
15--where you swing a kettlebell from between your legs to over your head
35 burpees. You know, the pushup/jumping jack combo things?

3 sets. I think it took me 24 minutes. Warmup was just some light stretching.

It was the burpees that killed me, I don't have the core and shoulders I need to do that many. I got thorugh the first set ok, but the 2nd and 3rd wrecked me. The extra cup of coffee I had probably didn't help. But I'll go back.
There's a guy in town that runs crossfit classes. $15 a pop. I would like a little guidance in terms of doing the exercises properly (and availability to some of the equipment that I don't have), but it seem a little expensive for a class for exercise sets that usually don't run mire than 1/2 hour.

I just stolzed the P90X vids from the internets for the gf.
I stoled the the P90X vids of the interweb last year, but I has no room to do them.

Melting here. We've only got about a foot on the ground in the yard, but the slopes should have two feet or so.

It was too much of a time sink for us. We got through 60 days, then had a nephew come stay for a couple weeks, and that interrupted our routine. The one hour every morning was too much since without P90X we get up at 5:15 each morning and while we did it, it meant waking at 4:30, except on weekends.

The Land Hog has been gassed, lubed and aired up, and is ready to rock. I have a chronically leaky tire, seems like it goes near flat in about a month. Any tricks to fix that? I've been going with the tried and true method of putting air in it all the time. It's a pain, but the trouble is that when the loyerette drives it she doesn't put air in it and drives around a giant steel beast with a bad tire. Which makes her not want to drive it, which means I might not get the small car for climbing trips.

Tires plus and a smooth $20.

Just curious See Eye, how much are good tires for the land hog? Back when I had my FJ60 I remember paying over $200 per tire. Pricey.
