Hello all, I'm coming down too Jtree for spring break and i'm looking to get some route recommendations. I'm wondering what peoples favorite sport and trad routes from 5.8-5.12 are so that i can put together a tick list for break.

Thank you,
Morgan Foster

Depending on when your spring break is, it may or may not be available. If not, search the other 100 threads about the same thing and that should give you a tick list of a couple thousand routes.

Hello,
I have a copy of the SCMA's JT crack-climb list here:

http://isildur.cosmology.name/CLIMBING/Joshua_Tree_SCMA_crack_list.pdf

most - if not all - of the routes I've led on that list (level 4 and under) take good pro.

Have fun,
Greg

Bee Bop Tango is one of the best in the park IMO.

Classic Joshua Tree Routes and Bouldering will be available in Nomads (and other fine stores) by March 8.

This guide is not a re-hash, minimalistic approach or contain routes of dubious quality. It has everything someone new to the area -- or even the seasoned local -- could want. Detailed and including info that will be found in no other guide.
