Interesting article - my bassoon teacher was way into music via math; this was in the early days of computers and he was seeking ways to express music in mathematical terms. He ended up leaving music and becoming a programmer. His observation was that mathemeticians search long and deep for these symmetries that the greatest composers and improvisers intuit. I recall one exercise we did in a 17th century counterpoint class. It turns out that there were numerous rules for intervals, inversions, resolutions, voice leading, etc. etc. that governed relationships between contrapuntal lines in Bach's and Mozart's time. We analyzed a 5 part fugue that Mozart wrote [apparently in a very short time]. There were something like 128 possible vertical combinations of the 5 voices - Mozart of course didn't use all the combinations in his piece, but we took the time to write them all out and analyze them - they all adhered strictly to all the rules. It's obvious that Mozart wouldn't have taken the time to do that big analysis, so he must have had a strong internal sense of what those five voices needed to be to successfully interact. We were all awestruck.

So, cool stuff; a lot of this quantification of music and what makes it sound good only has the end result of what musical geniuses already "feel."

yore not reading that^^^^

I read it, but have no idea what the fuk contrapuntal lines, Mozart, or vertical combinations of voices are.

Those folks really needed some robojesusing. All those boobs and guns surely indicate a life of sin.

wow. just watched that.

that's some fukked up shit.

I filed it under "spoof", though it did give me paws to do sew.

Yeah, the trailer never mentioned a title, and 30 seconds of extensive googling for every variation of cyber android robot jesus turned up no movie links.
Which, in my mind, is unfortunate.

yeah, it would be cool if there was some sort of apocalyptic battle royale movie between Zombie Jesus and Robot Jesus. One of them would have to be the antichrist, though.
Add in veloceraptor jesus and it can be a holy trinity throwdown
