What are they? I am looking for something cheep, light and functional, they dont need to last 47 walls, they just have to work.

I have a couple dry sacks from granite gear and Sea to Summit, but I have to say, I am very impressed with these walmart ones...

In my own test (dry toilet paper inside then dunking in water repeatedly) they are waterproof. But i wouldn't count on them 100%.
You get 3 for $12 and they are very lightweight and defiantly worth trying.

Fish makes some pretty damn good sacks, wall bags, beef bags, and even a peek-a-boo stuffsacks.
I personally own some of the first two varieties, and after abusing them on several walls, I only have one that needs some restitching near the bottom. Best stuff for climbing I know of. An they're 100% made in America.

Another vote for Fish wall bags. They are a very good mix of burly yet not overkill (metolius are overkill and overly heavy).

I love my OR stuff sacks, very durable, but obviously not the lightest thing around.

Fish. But he gets real busy sometimes, especially about this time of year, so you might not get them soon enough as he's usually doing build to order. You can ask him though.
Since no one mentioned them, I'll add that Metolius makes some as well that are very good. Light and strong. They carry well on a harness too. I stuff my drill into the large one (it's a better size for the big Bosch than any of Fishes bags) for hauling up and down cliffs, and clip it off to my waist to drop the drill into. Good stuff.
