Then I got to thinking whether it's possible we can climb 100,000 feet in a year between us. Not only do I think that's possible, but I reckon we could double it. Not that I could contribute a ton, but this year I hope to get owt twice as much as last year. If distributed evenly, to reach 200K feet we would each need to climb just under 12K feet in a year. Some of ewe (Jack, See Eye and Chossy) probably exceed 50K feet, but some of us may be pushing to get to 5-10K. So if Jake does 250 pitches at Rumney, that's ... 3k ft of climbing? I just counted up my total on the year and I think I have approx 4300 feet of climbing outdoors for 2011. That is a pretty rough estimate though, I think I averaged 70 feet for the climb lengths in NJC and josh, and 8 pitches a day. The vector day was probably 200 feet, and then wednesday at the loaf I figure I did 750 feet. No way i'll be able to keep track of the year though. I guess if I went with my daily average of approx 500 feet a day? Of course I think the Sun Ribbon Arete was probably 2000 by itself. I should start keeping track of my mileage again. That would entail keeping track of my climbing which I haven't been doing either.

It's a managable amount for an active day at a single pitch carg. So 12K is approximately 24 days owt. 500' is a rugged day at the Creke but a rest day at EPCN. It's also 35 routes at Rumney which, given the whoredz of Bostonians is inconceivable. not that rugged at the Creek, since most routes there are 100 feet or more. I got on 5 pitches yesterday with Justroberto for a total of 500 feet. It was 75F! Where at? the only 100 foot pitches at Erock are head-down ass-out affairs. Yep. I wanted to get on lines I haven't done before. First pitch of Hartford to second pitch of Kracken (it's a new line), then MD2020 (I think), then Ripple, then over to Owl Crack after stopping to look at Runamuck and getting afeard of the 7X climb. Gneiss. I actually have been on very few of those backside lines, I mostly stuck to the cracks at E-rock. I wanted to explore a little and Rob didn't mind. We didn't have a guide so we just ran up some lines that looked good. Ripple is fantastic though. And Stranger Than Friction looks sweet. Want to get on that too. Here's some ice we found though. Whoa, nice forming temps! Chossy needs to get down there and pick off some of the sweet mixed lines! I've been too busy knocking off my radgnar roots around here

This nutball thread might be the right place to ask this question: Who is Jona-Marie Price, and why does she want to be my facebook friend?

Well, you aren't wanted here, but I will give you the short version anyway because it is funny. First, she is that chick that misty murphy blogged about. Second, she is a Las Vegas stripper with ginormous bewbs. Third, she is one of those alpinists who does walkup summits. Her twist is that she takes photos in those lexan stripper heels. A guy I know recently went to Vegas to photographer. Got some funny shots, including one with full labia. big fun.

Looks kinda cool... should be enuff for a good day climbing. I've heard a lot of bad stuff about sandrock. never been there, though. It looks decent, with 60-90 foot routes. It has Champain Jam Which kinda looks like that Rumney climb that's been linked here. I thought you said the routes were 60-90 ft, not 20-30?
