God, Guns and Greed... three of the top reasons for not living there. Seriously, I love West Va. It's a stunningly beautiful state. However, just like a lot of states, there are a lot of mentally challenged people who give the place a bad name. There are also, of course, a lot of really cool folks there as well. Say, did you realize the tooth brush was invented in West Va? Proof: If it was invented somewhere else they would have called it a teeth brush.

Wow, this is just like starting with the line "No, seriously, some of my best friends are slopes or gooks, BUT..." Prejudice is prejudice. Let's try this one, which is much more accurate- "Just like every other place on Earth, there are a lot of mentally challenged people who give the place a bad name. There are also, of course, a lot of really cool folks there as well." the most priceless was this bit of trenchant wit... seriously, how are you not writing for Leno or Comedy Central... SO original /sarcasm

Really... you should just walk right out of your day job, right now... someone else can deliver the pizzas or insert catheters into chickens...

Of course... what was I thinking!?!?! You don't need to know any more about the places you grace with your presence than you can find out from a Falcon Press Guide... Let me get back to novel and important topics of timely interest, like... umm.... crag dogs... and... fixed gear... um... major sorbet's qualifications as a post whore... and... and... whether or not having some guy with a velociraptor's head on the front page is somehow less than PC... and... (it's called perspective...)

If I wanted to know more I would go to a valid history source that might contain some well written original material (as opposed to expecting that of course rc.com would answer everything I need to ever know about life the universe and everything with its hastily written, heavily plagiarized light weight posts) But I know that the average denizen here is loath to do actual research and requires spoon feeding by the many resident self proclaimed "experts".
