I'm thinking about applying for a job in Perryville Arkansas. What are the climbing options around there? I'm not going to have a car most likely. Any info would be great.

The climbing south of I-40 in Arkansas is more spread out and sparse, however the established climbing areas in published guidebooks are at Dardanelle, south of Russellville, and Mt. Magazine, south of Ozark. Both areas are sport and trad with little to no bouldering. Haw Creek is north from Hagarville on Hwy 123, but its a bit chossy. I suggest taking a look at Cole Fennel's latest guide book, its got alot of helpful info. Good luck.

There is some private land with some decent trad climbs i've heard, also a dude-ranch or something to that effect with sport climbs.
Lake lincoln seems to be decent, 80 footers.

Lincoln Lake is on average, 45 feet tall. The dude-ranch is Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, $5 per day to camp, $5 per day to climb, which hosts approx. 200+ climbs, mostly sport but with a few gem trad lines. There are multiple crags on private land that have no guide books available, and access is not easy if your not a local. But there are many established crags that are on public land and with free access to all. If you want to climb trad in AR, Sam's Throne is the place to be. There are 4 other established, free access, climbing areas within 5 miles of Sams. Cave Creek, Candy Mountain, Valley of the Blind, and Deliverance.
