I'm trying to treat myself well this summer and take better care of my eyes while working on the ocean with that harsh Alaskan sunshine. I need an Rx lenses that can do it all. So the question is, does anyone have any sunglasses that perform well but still allow you to photograph? My problem so far is being able to find a lens that still allows me to see through the viewfinder, because whats the point if you can't see your metering or focus? The lenses I had (before I lost them in Texas) were dark polared clip ons over Rx lenses. They worked great on the water, on trails, on snow ridges and even during winter skiing (with ghetto made side blinders), but they were too dark for me to see my metering in my camera. I've been looking at the Zeal line, specifically the ZB-13 lenses and they look nice, but not sure if they are what I need. Any thoughts or recommendations would be great.

You can't use polarized sunglasses for certain viewfinder displays, it'll be completely blacked out. If you are serious about photography, then you'll take off your sunglasses while composing. Otherwise, use as close to neutral gray sunglasses as you can find.

i use oakley's RX. Been super happy with them. Whatever you get its going to be life changing! RX shades are the best. Mine are very dark tint to minimize light on snow and water. I see fine through a viewfinder and i have a neutral tint so it doesnt screw with colors T
