Go the Fuck To Sleep is a bedtime book for parents who live in the real world. Honest, profane, and affectionate, Adam Mansbach's verses and Ricardo Cortés' illustrations perfectly capture the familiar issues of putting your little angel down for the night, and open up a conversation about parenting in the process. It fantastically written and dares say what we're all thinking. Here is a sample verse: All the kids from daycare are in dreamland. The froggie has made his last leap. Hell no you can't go to the bathroom, you know where you can go? The fuck to sleep.. Things just got better, though. Download a free audiobook version narrated by Samuel L. Jackson on Audible.com. And really, the inspiration for this post is based on this reading by Samuel L. Jackson. Without it, the book stands on its own, but now.... Now it's a shining star, a gem that once was rough. I've purchased a few copies for some friends as well as myself. It's a wonderful book, and should be kept on the shelf, just in case. Get yours here Amazon.

I haven't listened to this yet, but I can so totally hear Samuel L. Jackson saying "you know where you can go? The fuck to sleep!" *LOL* just thinking about it. Jay
