UGGG so my fairly new and "wonderful" harness is giving me trouble...

I have the dead bird r2-something

older version of http://www.rei.com/...mbing-harness-womens

mebbe I'm just too fattyin mai legsUnsure

the inner side of the leg loops are getting fold lines and are starting to cut in painfully if i sit in my harness...

projecting was NO FUN

not really sure what to do ... don't really want to buy ANOTHER harness...

I love that this one is really light and comfy when climbing, but sitting and lowering is starting to suck

I've been in lurve with mah pretzl. Adjustable leg loopz ftw! I doubt that I'd ever go back to non-adjustable loopz.

which pretzl do you have?
Non adjustable leg loops, man the last harness I had like that wuz from 89.
Corax.

Is the harnesses that I have. Both the elder won that I wear in teh gym and the newer won I wear outside. Tho, it's new harness time for me too. My outdoor won is getting quite tattered.

I've also got a corax, I also have an adjama

The adjama is quite comfy, but so is the corax. I really can't compare the two though, they feel the same. The one is just shitloads more expensive.

Although in terms of comfort and wear and tear resistant nothing beats the Old purple Calidris.

The corax is the expensive one or the adjama?

Here a corax run for $62 and the Adjama for $80

Adjama is most expensive, and the weight difference is really not that noticable.

Wow, we pay almost exactly that amount for corax and adjama harnesses.

I bought a bottle of californian wine just the other day.

Barefoot something or other.
Sweet white wine that was really refreshing and delicious.

Hey Donnie my new Facebook buddy!!

I've got the cunning plans.
I'll be saving the cash in a special "Fuckin A" bank account <-- I hope the bank will allow the account name.

THen as the cash progresses and reaches peak levels of awesomeness I shall make a round the world trip and visit as many people as I can, with you bunch included. And all my facebook friends.

Cool
Good plan?
For a minute I thought you were going axe me to cash a large check from a Nigerian Bank.
Too which I would have say sorry, no I can't help you out.
But this plan sounds awsome. Because you used the word awsome in the same sentence as bank account deposits.
HAHA
Anyrate. Sounds great. Come on by and we'll rope up or visit Disneyland or the beaches, etc.

I'm gonna have to do it.. it will be an epic journey.

I'll haz to beef up the climbing along with the cash though... I'm the week at the moment.

You should have plenty of time to train with the strikes and all.Unsure

And the strike continues...

They reckon it will last until the end of next week.
Now we are going to have to negotiate with banks and suppliers about cashflow and non payment issues. We are more than a week behind schedule, we don't have material, clients have started canceling orders....

This is a monumental fuck up.

Also Fuel pumps are starting to go dry...

Just have to wait it out and see what happens.

Any old school ice climbers among us can relate, for everyone else, just use your vivid imaginations.

Your pick snaps half way up a frozen waterfall, and the tension in your biceps at lock-off pop the adze end of your tool right below the lower edge of your helmet, opening up a 2" gash over your eyebrow.

As blood streams down your face, you fight the horrendous pump, trying to get the broken pick to stick. Your knuckles are repeatedly slammed into the ice, but you ignore the pain and try to neglect the 25 foot runout above the tied off screw.

The blood dribbling down your face is now mixing with the ice plastered to your three day old beard and congealing.

Finally, you arrive at the belay. You take your leaden hands and fumble to build an anchor with two tied off screws and a 3" icicle tied off at the base. Just as you begin to regain feeling in your hands and clip in, the screaming barfies hit, sending paroxysms of virtual knife blades deep into your flesh. You double over in pain.

Sorta like the Shawn Colvin concert last night.

At least I onsighted the concert, and can now recount the tale of horror well into my 70's, beginning with , "I remember back in the day..."
