I'll be in North Conway for a few weeks mid-August to early September and I'm looking for beta. Specifically, I would like to know:
1) Good, cheap/free places to camp and/or a place to discretely park and sleep in the car.
2) A place to get showers on occasion.
3) The local climbing shop, place to get a guidebook (and which one for Cathedral and White Horse?), etc.
4) Reliable internet or a good coffee shop.
5) Potentially looking for partners as well.

Just in North Conway for a few days.
1. Town Hall Road is where I camped. Fire rings and free. We slept in the car.
2. Didn't take a shower but the river is there and it was pretty warm.
3. IME and EMS are there for shops and gear.
4. Frontside Grind has some mean coffee.
5. Can't help you with this one.

there are quarter showers at pinkham notch, mt washington. the lower part of the building is open 24-7 to take showers and get ready for alpine starts/recover from late finishes...
