I use mine exclusively with my gri gri for single pitch stuff. I don't use it with an atc for cleaning and rapping so i don't have to worry about dropping it. I don't think that's really an issue anyway, but i guess it's just one more complication. For what I use it for it works well.

I agree it does work well with the grigri. I was using mine at work and at times I switch devices and it was just a pain.
