So instead of the usual "which set of cams should i get!?!1?!" threads, i thought of something new. You tell me which cam i do get to fit in between my blue #1 DMM TCU (range 19-29 mm) and my red #2 WildCountry Tech friend (range 29-44 mm). If i happen to have to use a cam, its mostly those two, however most of the time the TCU is to small, and the friend is too big so apart from the obvious solution to simply get a DMM/WC #1.5 i want the best! OK, stupid introduction aside, which cams do you like best in this rather small sizes? Given that i mostly climb limestone, a small head is a benefit, but its not an absolute neccessary. But if i consider this, the field would get narrowed down ( ) to aliens, Master Cams, TCUs, C3s and the Totems. So what to get? I am leaning heavily towards the totems, but feel free to tell me why i should not get them. The DMM TCUs would have the price advantage, whereas C3s and MAster cams would be the most expensive ones. And aliens are probably not a good idea, until the new ones are on the market. qwert

I'm a Metolius TCU/FCU user so those are my first picks. Metolius #4 TCU (red) covers ~23.5-33.5mm as does the similar version from Wired Bliss, the #1.5. The softer cam lobe material of the WB's might be an advantage in your limestone, but I'm not sure. I have also been looking at the DMM 3CU's as a potential add-on to the rack but haven't gotten any yet. DMM 3CU's have several sizes in that range: #1.25 = 21-33mm #1.5 = 23-35mm #1.75 =25-41mm Edit to add: you could always get a #1.5/Brown Tricam, 26-38mm. I'm sure you could find one pretty cheap on eBay!

Yeah, the .75 BD or the equivalent Dragon size are right there. I think they used to make a 1.75 friend?

I am quite tempted to get the dragon, purely because of my gear whoredom (DMM+shiny+hotforged+some other never seen before features = want), but somehow the hot forged lobes look much thinner than on other cams, which i woul imagine to be a disadvantage in soft and slick rock like limestone. No one got some experience with the totem, compared to WC and DMM? That thing is even fancier than the dragon qwert
