I was doing sloper pullups on holds that resemble C cups (thumb and pinky at about 9 and 3) last night and noticed dull pain in the palm of my left hand. I immediately took a break and tried to massage the area to see if I could pinpoint the location of the injury. I couldn't really determine anything as I didn't really feel any pain from my exploration. It wasn't until I got up off the floor and flexed my wrist did I feel acute pain in the center of the palm down to the wrist. Pain-free movement of the wrist eventually became more and more limited. Now, I can recreate any pain by flexing my hand side to side (as if i was waving with just the hand) and straight back (raise the roof). If I keep my wrist still, I can flex and curl my fingers as I please without any pain. I can even bend my hand downward with the same result. RC.com isn't close to going to a doctor, but if anyone can offer ideas or experiences on what kind of injury it might be, I'd appreciate it.

I am no "health care professional"...just going on experience. The side-to-side pain is something I haven't encountered though...

Way to insert the boobs in there just to get people to read your boring injury post. Well done! I gave you 5 stars for it. Josh
