I live in the ocean county area and was wondering if anyone knows of a bouldering/buildering site in my vicinity. I addition, any nearby rock gym's that I am somehow missing. (I only know of Rockville and Garden State Rocks near me. [1 hour away])

The nearest climbing outside you have three options: Sourland Mountain in Central Jersey, Fairmount Park (in Philly), or Haycock, PA.

Also, there is another gym in Maple Shade, NJ called Elite climbing, and it is a great gym for bouldering and is full of helpful and friendly people.

Most of Somerset County Sourlands permits bouldering. There's another Sourlands in Hunderton County and that one has access issues.

Call the parks for specific details.

I climb at Go Vertical (govertical.com) in Philly. Problems are good, some would say not as good as Elite but the stuff they have up right now is sick. Elite's hours aren't great. And there's also the Kelly Drive boulder in Philly if you're looking to get outside.

I live in northern ocean county, there really isn't anything around here, unless you want to climb the rock at the inlets. Gsr is only about 25 mins from me, but they get crowded. Rockville is awesome, but trenton sucks
