Good point...early morning /evening sessions are the ticket, as they always are, IMO, to get the best friction from the cooler temps. Incredible cranking being worked on out there!

I need to make it out there, possibly this week. Though, I'd probably need a showaround...

Has anyone every repeated the Sunstroke Mantel or any of the B-2 mantels at Santee? Way to hard.

No guide book? ok, the Sunstroke mantel the boulder just east of the no-hands traverse. I remember that there is one single edge in middle of face right below the mantel. A b-1+ mantel is on the far east side of rock. Mantel row shelf on the Dog Pile. Shawn Curtis is the mantel master.

I have to ask...who are you "maxter"?

I forget the name of the boulder, but east and just up the hill from NHT is a slant crack with a slippery face/mantle just left of the crack., also a mantle on the bulge, right of the crack. These have been repeated by others. The Mantle Row Shelf has a crazy hard mantle in the concave section that Eric Roedes (sp?) has repeated.

The kid that's working on the Suzy's boulder is putting up problems that are harder than anyhing out there, I mean ANYTHING! I was just out there with him and he's also looking to highball that overhanging, three bolt problem on DP!

The climb "Mean Streak" has been up since early june when I went out and cleaned that stuff up after finals. I went back out last monday and repeated it just to get outside. Real fun in 90+ degree heat. Finally starting to get back into shape haha. I'll let you know if/when the real proj goes down Gary. We hope to do a higher quality video of all the new stuff here and at Woodson as soon as things start cooling down.

Let me know if you need someone to shoot vid or stills. I've got both and would love to see that thing go down.
