The man is like a fucking lepricon or something, SO lucky. He hit a ledge one time and just kinda glanced off it (making him invert) and another inverting fall he took (rope behind heel) he narrowly missed the ledge while upsidedown. Some people are just like that. They take nasty fall after nasty fall and it is just a normal day for them. Yeah, I always thought it was something that they learned. Aparently some people are born with it.

If that happens, I give them a stern eye, back them in to a wall, and say, without emotion, "Do you know what I went through to get this far?". Never fails. Most of the time. How bout... I wuz givin the hip belays to leaders 300 feet off the deck before you were born son. Don't read me no paper that sayz palms down on belay boy. You better have been giving those hip belays palm down. Soooo, I've got this idea. If a person can be trans-gender, why can't someone be trans-racial. I feel that I am a black person born in a white persons body and I feel that I should not be discriminated against because of this, I also feel that because of my black heritage that I have been suppressed by white people for far too long, and have subsequently broken off all ties with all my family, the racist bastards. I am going to go to and have my ID document renewed but instead of being classified as a white person, I shall now be classified as a black person. Also my company shall also from now on meet all broad based black empowerment criteria, and be eligible to tender for large govermental contracts... I'm black now. Yo.

Don, Erin, Jay - a good friend from MA is in SD visiting family and wants to climb. She's an excellent second and a decent sport climber (not too hard on the grades, but is very competent). She'll lead some very easy and comfortable trad grades, but is really just now getting started. Definitely not just a top-roper. Her and her husband are two of my best partners on the east coast. Is anyone looking to get out? Do you mind letting someone tag along this weekend? Not sure where she's staying exactly. I can PM your info and hers. If you want to get a head start, on my facebook page, her name is Rachel A (the only one). Not sure if her husband is here, too, but I don't think so. Either way, he's a good person to climb with as well. Both have several years of trad and sport experience, just don't climb super hard. Two of my favorite people in the world, too. Very nice and good to hang around. Both love dogs (though I doubt seriously the dog made this trip to CA).

As of right now, nothing planned for this weekend. But we are looking to put together something soon, as the kids at work are wanting to hit it again. So if your freind(s) are still going to be in town on the Sat the 8th, have her send me a note on FB. That will give me a reason to set something up sooner rather than latter.
