Haven't been in years. I've been looking around but haven't seen anything recent about the move to state park with entry-fee and camping. Can anyone confirm the current status?

No fees or anything yet, just clearing and leveling so far. They have cleared a ton of the forest for parking and buildings but hadn't started actual construction as of a few weeks ago. I honestly think it's going to be entirely overdeveloped when it's finished. If you enjoy any kind of a remote setting (not that Sand Rock ever really had that) then I would head up there before it's completed.

I was there this past weekend. Only one building done as of now. But we didn't go all the way back on the new road they have cut in. Still no word on price or anything.
