So I wanted to report about my experience in Potrero this september I was there for 5 days while in a business trip to Mexico. I flew from mexico city to monterrey airport, and there got a ride with magic ed to Hidalgo (same for returning to mexico city). I had a blast climbing at epc. There were +- 10 international climbers (usa, canada, germany, france and colombia), and we enjoyed epc for us only... no lines, no crowds... even better there was no rain! (which is normal this time of the year) Hildalgo seems like a really calm town where nothing really happens. Locals are super friendly! Its so sad climber numbers have dropped... contact magic ed for beta and airport-hidalgo rides... no matter what... you must climb pangea 11d... sooo good!

I'll be heading down there soon too. I spoke with Ed and all the cartel crap is not affecting Hidalgo or the Potrero.
