I will be in Spain in November and in El Chorro 19-26November2011, but plan to climb 20-25Nov2011. My partner bailed, so looking for a partner. Also, any recommendations on where to stay? There are so many options, I would rather stay super close to climbing especially if I rent a car, which is likely. I plan to bring both guidebooks, at least 1 60m rope, (maybe 70m if I find a partner who wants to multi-pitch), slings, 20 or so draws, beaners, etc. I recovered this season from finger injuries so likely will lead sport up to 10a to 10c and can follow 11a'ish. But bottom line, I just really want to have tons of fun. Anyone in El Chorro around 19-26November2011 that need a partner, or group I can join?

Louisa, Seriously! So want to connect to climb Nov 21 through 25? I will climb with Silva on the 20th and also get connected with climbers so that when we meet, maybe have 1 or 2 more folks. I will send you a message if I can figure it out (haha) with plans and my contact info so we can chat about climbing. Cheers, d

GO stay at the Olive branch. 3 min from Encantadas crag, and walking distance to the rest. Great hosts, and you'll have no problem finding a partner. Great place to stay.

Hola! In el chorro you have plenty of places to stay as the camping, they have put out 8 bungalows low cost only for climbers, the the mythicall "el refugio", the olive branch, finca la campana ectect. but you can always sleep in the car and in diferent spots, for shower and eating you can always pay a little fee in the refugio. you will always need to walk a bit iff you want to climb in diferent spots of better quality then the "easy" accses. i would recomend to visit other climbing spots only a less then a few minutes or just 2 hours away, there is so much rock to explore around malaga area and andalucia ;) if you need more info or you have some questions just contact me. have fun! maybe we meet on the crags ;) saludos* Leandro
