I'm based in JT through the end of December/start of January, and have plenty of days available to climb. Looking for a partner du jour? Maybe that's me.... Fairly familiar with the area, leading up to 5.7(but selective as to routes and partners I lead with), can follow 9 face. Crack climbing, what can I say? I'm a Gunkie and we think a layback is crack technique.. Most preferred partner is a competent leader who climbs frequently and is visiting the area. Least preferred is a newish leader who doesn't know anything about the place. Uninterested in groups here for the first time who wonder where the bolted anchors are... ;) So, if you

Hey, I just found out that I have this Friday & Saturday off (9th & 10th) and am itching to get back to J-tree. I'm fairly familiar with the park. I also prefer to stay off of bolts & topropes. I lead comfortably into 5.10 and prefer the sharp end. I'm looking to do 5 to 10 routes in a day and would love to partner up for Friday. I can also climb Saturday, but only if you are willing to climb in a trio, as my girlfriend will make it out for then. She also climbs frequently and we shouldn't really loose a stride. Let me know if you still need a partner and if you wanna pair up or if you have any questions for me. Also, I might be partner-less on the 15th & 16, Thurs/Fri next week. -Jeremy

Not sure how far into January you will be there, but I am a Gunkie myself, will be there 6th - 14th of January, with my boyfriend and our 4 year old daughter but would love to get out for a day (or two) without a preschooler in tow. I have climbed at J-Tree several times, should be able to lead 5.7 or better and follow up to 5.10.

Leemouse - sounds good! I should still be here. Get in touch a bit closer to the time and we'll see how the weather/your itinerary are doing.

Hi again. If you're still in town would be happy to connect. Maybe Thursday, today works too. Email me at Hensley.evans at gmail if you still want to get out.

I'll be in JTree Feb 11-13th. If you're around, would be happy to meet up, as I'm looking for a partner. I've been to JTree many times and lead mid 5.10s sport, 5.9 trad. Also enjoy bouldering, but would prefer to get on ropes while I"m there. Let me know if you're still around.
