I'm sure this has come up before, but the search function isn't giving any useful results...

I've got a broken climbing hold that I'd like to repair. Actually, a Metolius Rock Ring. It is cracked at the cord hole in the top. How should I attempt to repair it?

Thanks!

gorilla glue or epoxy to fill up the crack or reconnect the broken piece. Sand and good to go

I used general purpose epoxy on my metolius project hangboard and it worked like a charm. Don't hesitate to use plenty of it.

send it back and they will send you a new one, just like any other hold, by any manufacturer.

a lot of hold manufacturers only have a 3 year warranty. Dunno about metolius. But the epoxy should work great.

They tend to break there after a lot of use.
I would suspect that it will break again in the same spot if you epoxy it. Send er back

I contacted Metolius and they were very quick to offer a replacement under warranty. So thanks for the "send it back" advice here, and thanks to Metolius for standing behind their product!
