Hey Guys, I just entered a commercial entitled "Gravity", that I filmed at Stoney Point in Chatsworth, California, for the "Doritos Crash The Superbowl" contest. As you will undoubtably notice, we did have to make some artistic choices over proper technique and etiquette. We were quite aware during filming that serious climbers could point out all the technical mistakes. If we followed proper protocol, there wouldn't be any jokes, which was the main reason behind the spot. We just wanted to provide some laughs, while still embracing the sport. We have over 12,000 views of it over on Vimeo, http://vimeo.com/32597417 Click here to view on the official Doritos website, http://www.crashthesuperbowl.com/#/gallery?video=16876 Click here to view on YouTube, http://www.youtube.com/...=channel_video_title If you want to see some reviews from climbers around the world including France, Germany and Russia then just check out my blog, http://pixelphile.blogspot.com Hope you all like it. If you do, please leave a comment and spread it around to your friends, the more the merrier. Thanks, Michael "Pixelphile"

LOL! I like it, definitely will appeal to non climbers and climbers alike, only thing I can think of is if they know of someone who got injured in this situation and are offended but it's fake so hopefully they understand that.

Or because I mistook a belay device for a ATC Sport XP? You're right that was harsh of me to poke fun of you. I mean it's not like you tried to show your mastery of rock climbing by overly critiquing the technical accuracy of humorous online Doritos commercial. You're totally not a NOOB. Still STFU.

Actually, anyone, climber or not could clearly notice that first there is, for the sake of argument, a thing on the carabiner, which then turns into just a carabiner. No different than someone pointing out something in a real film, rock climbing or not. I suppose I would be a noob at rock climbing if I pointed out that the Storm Trooper hits his helmet on the door in Episode IV?

Hi guys. Thanks for all the comments and for noticing that the ATC went missing. You really can't make a rope fly out like that unless you take the ATC off, and don't get me started on why we should have had a Grigri:) We have a new version of the commercial were the girl gets her revenge. You can check out on the new website, http://www.gravityandthegirl.com Cheers! Michael "Pixelphile"
