I have been very bad. I haven't been climbing, at the gym or anywhere, and have only done minimal general workouts for over a month! Why am I so lazy? Anyone care to heap abuse/motivation upon me?

Bad, bad, very bad! You will rue every day of inactivity, and every piece of chocolate you ate, when you finally get back to climbing, and discover how much you suck. Because you will suck! Even more than usual! O.K., seriously now... It is winter. Some creatures, especially those who have aversion to sharp axes, cold rock, and wet clothes, like to hybernate in winter. And I've never seen any evidence that the external abuse will ever get you halfway to where your own self-motivation would. So you'd have to find it on your own, sorry.

Darn. I was hoping to read that you've been bad in a good way.

Hey Sylvia - Do, or do not. There is no Try. GO Just trying to spread the lesson of the leech. Why not try something radical and quit while you are behind? You won't be missed. Something like that.

Yeah, the_leech - I miss him too. hmm... Okay, in his name, here's a thought for Sylvia: Sylvia, because you took the road of posting to a lame web forum for climbers, rather than actually getting off your ass and climbing, this poster is for you: Cheers, Gthe_leechO

I'm working in NOVA next week. Get off your lazy (soon to be fat) ass and come to the gym!

Haha, thanks everyone! Yeah, I am going to get me to the gym, hopefully tomorrow. Work has been a wee bit invasive and I'm still adjusting to the vegan diet I adopted at the start of the year, so I'll let those be my excuses for the past and move on in hopes of a more vertical future! :)
