Well, maybe not clothing per se, but compression sleeves would make a lot of sense according to this article
It even has real references!

Synopsis:
In reply to:
Far from being a mere fashion accessory, the evidence suggests that compression clothing can enhance performance and recovery in vigorous exercise via reduced muscle oscillation and increased proprioception and modification of lactate transport. Compression clothing also has the advantage of being easy to use, relatively inexpensive and legal. However much research remains to be done on the optimum levels of compression for different sporting requirements

I get what amounts to a quasi pro deal through adidas (used to also get one through Nike but they discontinued their program, those jerks) and I've been seeing these new compression garments in their catalogs for the last year or so. Pretty interesting. Not sure such material would stand up well to the abrasions of climbing though...Maybe if you could wear them under other layers.

The biggest issue with that stuff is that it makes you look like a giant dork.

Excellent. I already have your next Christmas gift picked out. Now I'm happy I get the pro deal. Wink

If I get you the full body ninja suit, you'll even be able to climb in the sun. We're so hitting Red Rocks in the summer!
