Hey guys, I'm planning on getting an arcteryx harness and I was wondering about the sizing... There are some decent deals to be had on Large sizes (most places seem to be sold out of mediums for past season items) and I was wondering if these would fit a 33" or 32" waist. I know that the sizing chart on Arcteryx's website ( http://www.arcteryx.com/sizing-chart.aspx?EN/men-s-harness-sizing-chart )says that it goes down to 34", but I was wondering if they make it so that there's a little wiggle room below their suggested waist size range. Thanks.

I have an arcteryx harness. With a 32" waist, I need a small so I don't think a large would work for you. r.c.

Thanks. I am a 32" waist and found that the medium was actually on the big side for me. If you can get to a store and try it on you'd be best served. That being said, I don't think there is such a thing as a 'good deal' on an Arc'teryx harness. Way expensive for minimal weight savings. You might look into a Misty Mountain Turbo or Bolt. Same weight class, more comfort, better durability, half the original price.

You will be able to physically fit into a L if you have a 33" waist, but it will suck. The gear loops will be right in front of your thighs, so any gear or draws will spill into your crotch all the time. I'm a 33" waist and I have a M, fits well. My thighs are a little big for the loops, so I cut out the elastic strap that gives stretch on the leg loops and now they fit great.
