Last week brought lots of off-width and squeeze climbing. I've got a lot of photos to share and did a blog post about it. If you're looking to get a glimpse of the wide cracks in Red Rocks take a look! Now go take a walk on the wide side!

Nice post, Matt. I'd comment right on your blog but your vetting process is too complicated for me.

Say HI! to Joanne for me and tell her to come down to the Potrero again soon to help me with a new route.

Great photos. How did you position yourself to get them?

Thanks, glad you like them. The positioning was pretty easy for these routes. After climbing the route I would set a fixed line and rap back down, placing a piece or two to position the line just slightly off to the side of the route. Then I'd rap to the ground and ascend back up stopping at different "sweet spots" that show the climbers position/action/face/gear etc. Typically the position I'm hanging in while shooting is pretty uncomfortable, (leaning horizontal, twisting around, stuck in a crack) but soon enough I can return to the normal hanging position to ascend further or lower off.
