I'm visiting Oahu (Honolulu) for a few weeks and was looking for some places to climb or people to climb with. I got into climbing about 4 months ago and top rope about a 10b and boulder V1. Unfortunately I didn't bring my harness, just shoes so if there are any places I can rent one I can go ahead and do that. Also, I've never climbed outdoors before.

USnavy wrote: He specifically asked for a place to rent gear, so he only has one option, the option I listed. I am recommending that if he wanted to rent gear, he go to that retailer. That shop is a legitimate climbing and professional rigging equipment retailer that caries a full line of gear and they offer guiding services. Very defensive hey.

To be fair, a lot of people are pretty offensive towards him. It's an understandable reaction.
