What my husband said this weekend: "Maybe I can be your climbing partner" "Maybe you can teach me how to climb trad" "I like climbing with you as long as we don't have to go with your gym friends. You haven't figured that out yet?" Must. Stop. Hyperventilating. Must. Not. Get. Super. Excited. Less. He. Pulls. The. Rug. From. Under. Me. OMG my retirement plans are solidifying as I type this! We made plans to have my MIL watch the kids for a day and go climbing. I think I will take him up GNS at Index. Oh so excited.

That's awesome! I actually asked my bf to teach me to climb, so that I could take him to Red Rocks for his 40th birthday, and be able to enjoy the trip with him. Now we climb almost every weekend, and I love it. I would not have wanted to climb with his friends to begin with for sure. There great guys, but I would have been intimidated..I still struggle with that but I'm getting better at it. We climbed with several different climbers in Red Rocks, which was a challenge for me..I am very shy, and its easy to shake my confidence. My first climbing trip with his friends in the end of the month...ugh...make me nervous just thinking about it.
