Call the cops NOW. That kid has some issues and is probably doing this to all the other animals in the neighborhood. You really need to nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand, Id also recommend you call the local animal control and report him. Ultimately its going to come down to a battle and the first thing the cops are going to say is "why the hell didnt you call us?" That dog is really cute. looks like a very happy dog.

You couldn't be more wrong. Called the police. First thing they asked was 'did you already talk to the parents?

Oh they are taking it VERY seriously. They just wanted to know if I'd talked to the parents yet. I was told to expect to have officers swing by my place tonight around 6:30pm so they can talk with me and my neighbors separately.

Fingers crossed for something positive to happen. Carlos Fuentes just died. Shame, quite a writer.

In order to protect the kid's privacy, and my ass all I'm going to say is he's getting in trouble for being mean to my dog and is REQUIRED to talk to a professional about it.

Aww come on man! It's finals season and I have a ton of procrastinating to do. Very well, I agree with your call. I would like to know a bit more of the specifics to learn more about the s.o.p. in these cases, but at least you solved your problem and the kid is getting help.

That is so disturbing... I'm very happy to hear that something is being done about this. You clearly did everything right the first time, I applaud you for that. And by the way, you have one cute pup right there! You should teach him how to high-five, it's the coolest most adorable thing a dog can do haha.

Chad, your response to this was so mature that I'm literally surprised to read about it on Rockclimbing.com.

I just had an ungrateful employer who had no design process and unsatisfying work. I still have a mildly ungrateful employer and unsatisfying work but now I have a very grateful furball to come home to and cuddle with! He's a good doggy. Yes he is! (said in dog voice)

I'm glad everything is working out for you and your dog wasn't hurt. I have two dogs myself and they are like part of my family. I will keep the trail can in mind if anything like this happens to me. You also kept a cooler head than I probably would have, probably would have been pounding on their door the moment I caught him in the act.
