Has anyone ever worked for one of these plastic rock setups before ?

I wonder what sort of schedule maintenance these auto belay devices go thought

probably the classic fall arrest used in construction, but worn out from being used in a way it wasn't meant to be (repeatedly)

the fall arrest used in constructions are built like seat belt system so they react during sudden pull fall but this is one of those slow lowering mechanism and if the braking system (mechanical clutches) fail, it goes to full drop.
