My wife and I have about 6 hours in Arcadia and want to climb some 5.7 to 5.10 sport routes. Not interested in bouldering on this trip and we'd like a less-than-60 min drive. Any suggestions? Thanks

Any suggestions? Thanks If the 6 hours is in the morning, you can go to the Riverside Quarry. Plenty of 5.10s there, not a ton below that though. It should be less than an hour to Malibu Creek, assuming you're not in rush hour traffic, and there are more routes in the 5.7-5.9 range there (though many are not of very high quality). It's also much easier to find shade all day at Malibu, whereas after noon the quarry will be miserable this time of year.

Go to the gym on Santa Anita (forgot name). Your time window is too short. Options mentioned here are not good (Quarry mostly above your limits and Malibu >1hr plus hike in).

I guess I thought there was more quality climbing in the area. Doesn't sound like there's much within an hour of Pasadena. How about if we spend a little more time in the car, is there anything worth climbing less than 90 mins away?

How about if we spend a little more time in the car, is there anything worth climbing less than 90 mins away? if you drive fast, maybe you can get to new jack city in not too much longer than 90 minutes? it'll be pretty hot out there, though. the socal areas best for sport climbing in the 5.7-5.10 range are new jack (really more like 2 hours away), holcomb (~2 hours), and malibu -- with your timeframe, I'd say go to the stumbling blocks area of malibu (45-75 minutes driving, depending on driving speed/traffic + 20ish minutes of approach).
