Route-setter, 5.13 climber, V11 boulderer, owner of the Onyx gym in Mexico City, father, all around good guy. He died in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico today (or yesterday, dunno what time it is). Here´s his facebook if anyone thinks they might know him and want to send his family a condolence message. http://www.facebook.com/javier.canchedeltoro

I really liked him. He'll be a big loss to the climbing community in Mexico.
