Hey, I'm thinking of bumming at Smith Rock for a bit but it may fall around the first few months of the year, maybe even December. Can anyone give me some advice on good times to go up there and weather conditions throughout the year??? (I'm a fortunate dude -aka jobless bum- and I'm thinking of heading up from CA through OR, WA over to MO and down to ID UT and ending in CO. But I may due this in DEC/JAN/FEB/MAR when it may be rainy as hell - any advice???) Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

This can really be a great time to visit smith. Just make sure you stay on the sunny south-facing routes. A day that is sunny and 30 degrees is pretty tolerable once you get close to the walls. Bring a puffy jacket and hand warmers just in case.
