Hi Climbers! I am taking an industrial design class and have been researching the belayer's neck pain problem. If you have a second to take this survey, it would help get some better data. Thanks in advance! http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QY8LRL2

Sorry I can't count that high. And even worse: Question #7 is conditional . Forget it, kid! Hmm... looking back, I notice that some questions require a subjective response. No way am I going to work your survey, M.

In spite of giving a rather detailed answer to one of those questions, I completed the survey in less than 5 minutes. Please, that's quick.
In reply to: And even worse: Question #7 is conditional . That's supposed to be, like, a joke?
In reply to: Hmm... looking back, I notice that some questions require a subjective response. Another, um, joke?
In reply to: No way am I going to work your survey, M. If you're trying to be funny, you need to try harder, or better yet, maybe just stop trying. For once, a student appears to be trying to address to a legitimate health concern in climbing. This is the kind of student activity we should support. Jay

I didn't time myself but I think it took just a couple minutes. The questions struck me as very well thought out. Bill L

Hey! NE could have made his survey even quicker by posting a poll, "Do you suffer from belayer's neck, Y/N". He would have got some subjective answers, too. But he's already posted his OP, he's not going to take it back. You're right, JT. I gotta stop delivering these quick repartees. Although it's not my age that's showing: when I went to school folks often more inarticulate than this. OK I'm jaded. I've gone and applied my own standards to NE's post. I'm not that curmudgeonly on the rocks! Really! On the rocks, I'm never concerned about anybody's verbiage, or noobiage. Just at home, in front of my computer. Bye, see you later!

Appreciate the feedback Dan! This was my first survey so I do apologize for flaws in the questioning method. The comments will help me make a better survey next time. It was awesome to see that so many people took the survey. Thank you! (and thanks Jay and Bill for backing me up!) Now time to analyze the results... Cheers, Emmy
