My dream was to settle down, after many years of traveling to different climbing areas, in a place with an unlimited number of big unclimbed walls and that's exactly what I've done.

Dude... You spam RC.com with that stuff more than all of the collective noobs in a given month asking about shoes, ropes, and how to's...

Considering that it's a great climbing area, I see no issues with it.

Well I know its very cliched and "real climbers" don't aspire to anything so mundane, but secretly I would like to climb Everest. Yes really.
But I never will. I am too weak. I get cold too easily. I weigh about 95 lb so I can't carry enough. I just had kids. I have size 4 feet so what boots would I wear. I might die.
But that would be my dream.

The answer is "Never." Now go climb at El Potrero Chico instead.

How is Everest mundane?? It would be scary-awesome! Maybe my secret dream is to learn to ice climb, except I'm not at the stage where I can even admit I want to try that yet. It seems painful.

I am a climber with absolutely zero desire to climb Everest. My secret dream would more likely to free-climb an El-cap route or the Nose in a day.

Dude, Ed was answering the question. Well spoken Ed.

The locals are friendly, the food and beer are cheap, camping is inexpensive or free, access to the big routes is unbelievably short and easy, and best of all, you will not be hampered by overbearing rules and regulations.
