Spent a day DWS with basecamp. They were great. We went to two locations a short boat ride away.

Grades from 5 to 8, but my wife and I can't go harder than 6b. Nice that the routes weren't all polished smooth.

have fun! I'll probably hit it again in a few weeks.

If you want a pioneering adventure, consider the Mergui peninsula in Myanmar (Burma) right next door.

Most of the DWS operations will be running out of Railya/Tonsai. They mainly head to Chicken/Poda Island area nearby.

While most run the trips on a longtail boat, we found one operator who had a good size sailboat and ran their DWS trips from that instead. Cost an extra $3-4 at most and was very well worth it. Can't recall the name but ask around on Railay and you'll find them.
