Can anyone tell me how to determine the correct rise that my harness should have? I know that tragic things can happen with the rise being to short or long (fliping upside down, etc.) Thanks

I know that metolius makes a "harnessizer" that measures rise, as well as waist and leg measurements. When you try on a harness, get up on a wall somewhere, just like 2 or 3 feet of the ground, and see how you hang. You should be leaning back slightly, like a 30 degree angle. You shouldn't be leaning too far back, or so upright that the rope is against your body.
