I have been using my rockclimbing.com email address a lot lately and I want to back up all of the email content so that I can delete it from the site without losing the information.

Anyone know if this is possible?

I think I will need to switch to using something like Outlook but there is no imap interface, just pop3, to get my email from here.

Hmmm, I don't think there is a simple way to do this.

As you said, you'd need to use one of the other e-mail programs like Outlook, and as you say, it's POP not IMAP.

So in short, no there is no export/import feature currently in place for the e-mail.

This is functionality we may implement in future, though as far as I am aware this is the first request for it.

The only option, and it's not a great one by any means, is to setup a POP account in outlook and forward your current inbox messages to it.

I was just looking around and I can't find a way to even forward my rc.com email address to someplace else. Can I get some help on where this is in the email settings?

The free email address is nice but the email system that has not been upgraded in 4 or 5 years (or maybe 10) is a bit disappointing. IMAP support would be nice since the email editor is terribly behind the times. I would move on abut it's hard to get so many other people to use some new email address for me.

Thanks.
