Blank stare ensues. "So did you have to go through a border crossing?"

"Yes, the Italians have their entire Tenth Mountain Division stationed every 100 meters along the border to prevent terrorists from entering through the French alps."

My wife thought that was rude.

It is rude. There's no freaking need for them to be there. It's been borderless for since 1995, ten years after the Schengen Agreement was signed. People should be able to cross that border without ever having to smell bad aftershave. In fact, that alone should be in the next agreement, but whatever. The Italians will always be rude like that.

Ha!

Well, my wife is 50% DeLella (the other half is O'Bryan *fasepalm at the combination) so she has a soft spot for her peeps.

Mine is Canalli Bona - 100%.

You got married?

PTFT...no, not yet.

Your logic is fatally flawed.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Was trying to think of a way for you extend that trip somehow, or make it better...because hookers and blow clearly aren't jumping on this train.

unless of course your wife is into that sort of thing...and if you want to dive back into that world...well, shit, why the hell not? See, extra cash problem solved.

You can send the check to my box in Somerville.
Alternatively. You could buy a bucket load of gear and drop it off with me for safe keeping.

hey! get your own racket! Mad
Well I already have a racket. Grip tape is old but hey. Need my freind to get his own, we can play racketball at the Y while the wifes sit and talk by the pool...

I always preferred squash over racquetball.

No, but we've been talking about it for a while now. I think it's inevitable, but we need to figure some things out before we get to that point. But yeah, it's in the works.

Now I know why I skipped my college graduation. I was about 3 pitches up Vertigo when they called my name (twice), looked around, and then said, "in absentia."

At least I had the foresight to tell my parents not to waste their time going. Still, I'm proud of my Sports Management/Communications kid. Now GET A JORB, DAMMIT!!!1!

We just got back to NH after a 2 1/2 hour ceremony, a gluttonous lunch, changing the truck battery in Max's truck, dissembling a futon and packing it in my truck (fu€&ing futons; I loathe them), and driving 3 hours in the rain.

If there's no place like home, what will it be in two weeks when no place is home? I don't know either, but I can't wait.

Buttoning up for Bruisn-Leafs game 6, sitting down to work on a couple of small paintings, and yes, I do worry about my quick-adjust harness, and no, I don't like it.

Well, they're winning Game 6 at the moment...and I have a bad feeling that they're going to walk into the second round after Game 7, too.

Bruins are playing absolutely uninspiring hockey.

Freaking tired.
too much this weekend.
10 hour day on Fri didn't help.
Wife wanted to watch Soul Surfer Sat night. by the time we got the kids off to bed it was 930. And she still wanted to watch it. funny, used to be staying up till midnight was no big deal.
Sat the wife wanted to see Mud in the Theater. Didn't know anything about it, was actually pretty good. But made for a late night. Could have used some more sleep this weekend.
