More information: BC climber dies in fall near Leavenworth By Associated Press Wednesday, May 15, 2013 LEAVENWORTH, Wash. (AP) — A climber from British Columbia died in a fall Tuesday night southwest of Leavenworth. Chelan County sheriff's Sgt. Kent Sisson says 37-year-old Amy R. Stein of Squamish was walking down from the Snow Creek Wall with other members of a climbing party when she jumped out of the path of falling rock and fell about 70 feet. She died at the scene and her body was recovered Wednesday. My condolences to loved ones. Very sad.

Very sad. Rock fall in decent gully's are a nasty business. Many times there is no where to go to get out of harm's way.
