I've been thinking of doing something up that way next weekend. Dunno how the weather is going to play into it, since it's already snowing up high. Maybe Kennedy meadows.... Want. to. get. out... I was there last November and it was tolerable, no snow, just cold air and sun. I'm not sure you and I are talking of the same area. There are two Kennedy Meadows. One up by Yosemite and another waaaaaaay south. I'm not going up by Yosemite unitil November

sold a couple of prints. getting better at portuguese. trying to figure out where I hid the rent. getting close to painting mad. watching frank gore rack up the points for me tonight. sipping two fingers of highland park. waiting for god to shoot me. listening to nights in white satin. wishing rechargeable batteries weren't so expensive now that my mouse batteries are dying. painting a scene from andalucia that's turning out to be crap. wondering if he needs any help loading the bullets. making lists. trying to stay prioritized. had a good reception at a recent flamenco event. bought three history of flamenco culture books. not sure if i'm going to receive a receipt or not for one of the books. surprised that concrete floats. that's about it.

Anywon interested in Red Rocks next couple of weaks??? I think you did the right thing by looking for work right away. Even though you have a year's worth of income coming in, waiting would have been a mistake. But at the same time, if you're looking and not finding work immediately, taking a break doesn't hurt. It keeps the desperation energy from getting built up.

Which is all good. Very good in fact. But dang my to do list just keeps getting longer. And very few things are getting scratched off.
