"For the safety of all of our customers we are issuing an immediate recall of certain batches of Wild Country Classic Rocks and Anodised Rocks

If you own any Wild Country Classic Rocks and/or Anodised Rocks that were purchased any time from January 2010 onwards please read the PDF notices carefully and follow the instructions “How to Identify the Product”, so that you can ascertain whether your product is from one of the affected batches."

DA -AAAAMN!

That is a pretty comprehensive recall. Surely massive $$ here.

Incidentally from the recall pdf "The problems that we found were most apparent in Classic Rocks batch JBE"

Guess what batch my nuts are from?

Damn. I guess you get a new set of nuts!

I'd be curious to hear about your experience of going through the return process.

Wild country nuts are fairly ubiquitous in the UK and Australia. Most climbers around these parts have one set of DMM and one set of WC. BD stoppers are much more rare outside of North America. Make no mistake, this recall seems absolutely massive in scale.

I will likely be returning my nuts to the retailer rather than WC to save the hassle of postage etc... That said I return it direct to WC I get a free quickdraw. It will probably be weeks before I can be bothered getting around to returning them. So I wouldn't hold your breath on feedback from me. Wink

My primary set of nuts are WC purchased 12+ years ago and they are still going strong. My second set are DMM Offsets/Peenuts.

Cool
