First comp kicks off today in Korea (which is actually Saturday in Korea, we're 14 hours behind them in Eastern Canada and the States).

They should be live streaming here today. Qualifiers strat at 7pm EST.

Climbing in Korea are Americans Mark Beverly and Aaron Montgomery, Canadians Gordon McArthur and Nathan Kutcher.

I'm not familiar with the format; how many move on to semis? I assume it's Qualifiers, Semis, & Finals?

There's a limited amount that moves onto Semis, but I'm not sure how many that is myself. I think that Gord would have been advanced, maybe Aaron? I was out climbing all day so I'm just catching up now. Blush

Looks like the top 18 from Qualifier moved onto Semis. Then the top 9 in the Semis moved onto Finals.

Just watching some of the speed climbing right now. It's amazing how fast some of those guys move!

Prelims happening today in Romania for the men. Women's prelims are held tomorrow.

North America atheletes include - Nathan Kutcher, Gord McArthur, Jen Olson, Mark Beverly and Kendra Stritch.

Both Nathan and Gord have rolled into the Semis.
