Just wanted to let the climbing community know that we spent 8 days in Railay climbing and 3 days near Phuket diving and 2 weeks later my wife developed fevers and chills. Just got back tests confirming malaria. The CDC puts these parts of Thailand into a low risk category and does not suggest taking prophylaxis but after our experience I would!

(Sorry if this is the wrong area to post but injury prevention seems appropriate)
