Hello,

Somewhat new to the sport... I am in need of a climbing partner or a group of people who go.... I like outdoors better but also like the gym... I would like to go a few times a week but can't seem to find anyone who likes climbing as much as me.

If you live in the New Jersey area, please email me and let me know if you are interested...

Thank you,

Katie

Hi Katie!!

I am looking for a climbing partner too, I am from Austria and the third day in NJ/USA. NJ is not that small, at the moment I live in Berkley Hights, where are you living, how far away is Morristown? I will stay at least one year. Do you now something about indoor climbing here in NJ (near Berkley Heights, Summit)? Would be great to here from you

Hello,

You are about 20 minutes from me.. :-) Not far at all!!! There are some good inside gyms around us... I usually go to diamond rock gym in east hanover.. Just because it is so close to me... Also there is the New Jersey Rock Gym if you prefer bouldering.. It is better there. I would love to get out and climb sometime.. Let me know when you are free, maybe we could hit the gym this weekend.

muah!

Katie

Where are the good crags in Jersey, and what kind of rock are they? I live in CA but I visit my pop near Parsipanny a lot. You guys find where the best crags are and I'll climb with you next summer.

Hello,

In NJ... Some fun Crags to play on can be found at Pyramid Mountain Park or
Tourne County Park (The Tourne). I live very close to parsippany.. in Whippany and go there quiet often.

There are a bunch of routes for bouldering listed here if you are interested.. For sport climbing check out the Deleware water gap or the Gunks...

I have been looking for someone to climb with for a while (Just found this site). I live in PA, work in Somerville, NJ. I have been to Tohickon Gorge, PA a few times and would like to try Del. Water Gap sometime. Not too big in sport climbing, mainly trad. Not going out to flash a 5.14. Also looking for Mt. bike and camping/ backpaking partners.
