I'm looking at the possibility of doing either a European road trip or just a climbing holiday based at a couple of European crags from March 9 - April 6. I own a campervan in Amsterdam so a rough plan would be to fly into Amsterdam March 9 start driving down to Catalonia, Spain. An alternative destination would be Finale, Ligure, Italy. Would probably stop at Fontainebleau on the way down for a couple of days and maybe also 1-2 southern France crags to break up the drive. I am flexible with destinations though, as long as it is within reasonable driving distance from Amsterdam (I would range as far as Costa Blanca), a quality sports climbing crag and the weather would be favourable. However, I have no climbing partner and would prefer to have a partner organized before going rather than just turning up to crags to hang around in the hope of find a partner. I onsight lead about 6c/6c+.
Anybody interested in going me or meeting me somewhere for all or part of the period? I don't mind sharing the campervan with a "live-in" climbing partner. Please let me know ASAP as I'll have to make a decision soon.
