Hello folks, I am a friendly young Canadian who is relatively new to the climbing world. I'm currently living in Berlin but am soon setting off on a month long trip that I hope will be climbing orientated. I have mostly done bouldering in the past, but I would like to try my hand at DWS and perhaps some trad climbing as well. I am looking for climbing/traveling partners that are easy going, and either at around the same level as me (not sure how to classify myself, in the gym I boulder around 6b) or willing to give tips. Let me know if this interests you! Email me at keenan dot nowak at gmail dot com, or reply here. (also looking for general location tips at this time of year, I have heard Mallorca is not great for DWS in April. what's better?) Cheers, Keenan

I hope you find someone Keenan but I think most folk would agree, the sea is too cold in April for DWS in Mallorca.

Hey Blakey, thanks for the reply! Yea, that is what I have heard from my gym buddies as well.. might as well scratch that off the list! Do you know if Portugal/Croatia are any better?

Like I said, probably should be fine in May. Currently air temperatures are 15°C on average through the coast, you cant expect the sea be ready yet.

Settled on the Iberian Peninsula as a destination. Currently in Valencia, going counter-clockwise around the coast with climbing stops on the way. Still looking for partners!
